There are three main ways you can access your voicemail when you are away from your office phone: web, email or by calling into your phone.

Web:
If you have access to the Internet and your computer has speakers or headphones, you can log into the SohoLogic website and into your account.  By clicking on your mailbox, you can listen to the messages as well as see the caller ID and phone number of the person that called.

Email:
You can set your account up to send a copy of your voicemail to your email account. You'll be able to click on the message and listen to it on your computer or your smart phone.  You can also forward the message to anyone back in the office.

Phone:
By calling your phone number, you can press the star key "*" on the phone to get into your voicemail. Follow the voice prompts to check your messages, save them, forward them or delete them.

When you sign up for services with Logicore, we'll give you a 30 days to try our service and see if you like it.  If you don't, you can cancel in writing either via email or fax or call us at 651-262-2810.  We will refund your monthly fee as well as any standard installation charges.  You will still be responsible for paying any overages on usage, international call fees or directory assistance charges.

If you purchased or leased any phone equipment through us, that must be returned within 21 days of cancellation and in original condition, with reasonable wear and tear, to our address to receive credit for the equipment.

All of our services are provided on a month-to-month basis unless you choose one of our discounted six-month or annual packages.  When you sign up for our services, we have a basic terms of services agreement that outlines the services we will provide to you.

The number is limited only by your bandwidth and hardware at your location.  Our services are scalable, so you can grow your business with us, starting with one phone  and growing to multiple lines.

You can access your SohoLogic phone anywhere you have a high-speed connection!  All you need is a piece of software running on your laptop, called a "softphone".  This is a software-based phone that has all of the same features as your physical desk phone.

No, we will help you port your phone number over to our services if you want to keep your existing phone number.  This process can take anywhere from 14-30  days. If you would like a new local phone number, we can help you register one within 5-7 days of signing up with Logicore.

No.  Our service is primarily web based, so whether you are using a Mac, Windows or Linux, as long as your web browser is fairly current, you should be able to use our service.  If you are using a softphone (software-based phone) instead of a physical phone, you may need to use something specific to your operating system.  We would be happy to recommend a solution to you.

No, as long as your computer can support high-speed Internet access, you will be able to use our service.

No, we provide your local and long distance services for you.  Your long distance package is dependent on the plan you choose.  We can help you pick the plan that best fits your calling patterns, whether you call primarily in North America or globally.

In most cases, yes, you can make calls anywhere you have a high-speed Internet connection.  You may encounter some Internet providers that block certain ports in their firewall that don't allow SIP traffic.

To get started with SohoLogic, you will need a few simple things:

1)  High-speed Internet access - cable, DSL, wireless, but typically not satellite. Satellite may work, but you will likely have long delays between conversations.

2) Live in the United States.  Currently, we are only offering U.S. based service.

3) A VoIP capable phone or an ATA that converts a standard phone into a VoIP phone. Don't worry - we can help you choose the best solution for this.

No, you do not need to have a static IP address to use SohoLogic.  We will create a user account for you that will allow your phones to register on our system, whether you are on a dynamic or static IP.

We have worked with a range of VoIP phones and have had good luck with most of them.  We have been using Cicso, Linksys, SNOM and Grandstream the most, but there are many brands that are good.

VoIP phones have a range of features, so the best thing to do is to decide what is important to your business. Do you want a traditional desk phone with 2 or 4 lines? How about an integrated video phone so you can video-conference? A wireless phone that lets you walk around while you talk?  A headset-capable phone?

We can help you figure out which phone fits your business needs as well as your budget.

It depends.  If you are not using a voice over IP specific phone, you will need to use a piece of hardware, called an ATA (analog telephone adaptor) to convert your phone into an Internet-ready phone.  We can look at your existing phone or phones and provide you with a quote for the available options.

Yes, we can provide you with a single phone number or a group of phone numbers.  We are able to provide phone numbers in all of the local area codes, as well as phone numbers in other states.  New phone numbers take from 3-7 days to set up.

If you have employees in other states,  it may make sense for you to have phone numbers that are local for these employees.  It may also be a good marketing tool to offer a local phone number for your potential customers to call.  We would be happy to work with you to determine the best combination of phone numbers for your business.

Generally, yes, you can use your existing phone number.  We will need to check with your current phone provider to make sure it is portable.  If it is, we will need to initiate a transfer between your current phone service provider and Logicore.  This can take anywhere from 10-30 days, depending on your provider.  We will create a Letter of Authorization form for the phone number(s) and have you sign it to authorize the move.  As soon as the transfer is completed, you'll be able to use our phone tools.
