First, I have to confess I’m a 50 year old tech nerd. My first computer was an IBM Aptiva, way back in 1994 and it came with this crazy thing called a dial-up modem and a free account with IBM that turned out to be not so free in long distance charges. (Remember paying for long distance? You don’t?) So I found a local Internet Service Provider (ISP) and next thing you know, I was posting stories on Usenet groups, playing trivia on a Bulletin Board System located in the far away land of Canada and UUEncoding photos to share with all my new friends.
